Hi! I am Sita-Marie...

I have been providing pet care services in the Bay Area for over fifteen years, everything from cats and hamsters to zebras and anacondas. My specialities

include wolf hybrids and rescue dogs, but there's (almost) no limit to what I can handle when it comes to animals. I took over my mother's pet sitting business a few years ago and before that I would help her on her runs. I have been doing basic dog training for over five years in different locations such at Unleashed by Petco, PetSmart, and an independent training company. I have also been conducting private lessons and will continue to do so.

My exotic animal experience comes from the Oakland Zoo where I was an

intern for three months. My wolf experience started in Colorado then continued to the California Wolf Center where I spent a weekend getting certified in Wildlife Chemical Immobilization and Handling. I also volunteered as a Red Dog TLC volunteer at the Peninsula Humane Society & SPCA for five years and worked

hard among my fellow volunteers to give rescue dogs the attention and socializing they needed. My nutrition experience was gained from working in multiple pet

store including Earthwise, a pet store that was focus on natural nutrition for both dogs and cats.

While caring for animals is a very big part of my life, I am also currently working

on getting my Doctorate in Clinical Psychology and my Hogwarts house is Ravenclaw.

The Pack

All of my dogs are part of my "pack" and I regularly refer to them as such.

Cassie

Cassie and I have been friends for many years. She is someone who I entrust my pets to when I am out of town. Cassie and her dog, Serabi are the friendly faces who pop in from time to time.
Hogwarts house is Gryffindor.

Cassie is also our photographer & graphic designer. This site & my logo were designed by her, while some of the images used on the site were taken by her.

Patrick

Patrick works with me, making sure pets get the best care and attention. He used to work as the Dog & Cat Department Manager at a local pet store before his current career as a Commercial Real Estate Agent.
Hogwarts house is Hufflepuff-Slytherin.

Susanne

Besides being the original founder of "Pet Parent", Susanne is first and foremost, my mother. When boarding dogs, the likelihood of them making their way over to her house for part of the day is very high. Most of the pack stays with Susanne and she frequently takes them to the dog parks when the pups aren't playing around in the gated front and back yards.

Jeanette

Jeanette and I have been friends for twelve years. She works hard as a student at SF State University. She typically works with pets when we need some extra help. She owns no pets of her own and takes claim to my pack as her own.
Hogwarts house is Ravenclaw.

Luca

I met Luca while working at Earthwise Pet in Redwood City. He has over 5 years of pet care experience including knowledge of pet nutrition, dog walking, and pet sitting. He also enjoys all animals from four legs to eight. Hogwarts house is Gryffindor.

Cassie

Marama is not only the Alpha of the pack, but she is also my certified service dog. She is 60% wolf and 40% husky (Wolfsky) with a bold personality. When boarding dogs, Marama and I will be the ones to first greet you and your pup before approving the board.

Bitiya

She's just a "little Bit".... weighting just a wee bit over 80lbs! This 50% German/German Shepherd & 50% American/German Shepherd is a complete and total durp with a loving and hilarious personality towards people and other animals.

Ze'ev

This is the shy, but loving Malamute Wolf (wolfamute) bundle of fun and fluff. Chances are you will not meat her, but your pups will. She and Bitiya guard the main house while Marama is away.

Kabutar

This lil' Healer mix is the newest addition to the pack!

Serabi (Shwoofsky)

Smash Bitiya & Marama together and you get a Shwoofsky. Serabi is a German Shepherd, Husky, Wolf hybrid who I fostered and adopted out to Cassie, one of the pack members. Serabi comes over to the house to play from time to time and goes on walks/hikes every so often with us. She is a rarity to those outside the pack, but it is not unheard of for others to meet her.

Marama
